just a quickie ... can i use my electrical equipement ipod charger, hair dryer etc on the island? Is it 3 pin or will i need an adaptor?

also are there any health risks. ie food water and mosquitos?

It is precisely 2 weeks before we travel & we just can't wait to get there. We have been looking at the weather forecast for the next 10 days & it says there will be scattered thunderstorms. We then read that the monsoon is from mid May until November. Can anyone please let us know what to expect weatherwise? We have had a letter from Thomson regarding the building work & the AI package. Apparently the building work is confined to one area of the island & hand held tools are being used so should not be to disruptive.

We are extremely upset with the AI package as this does not include diet drinks. We have been told that diet coke is available on the island but is priced at $3.00 per bottle, not sure of the bottle size. My husband & I are off to the island on 7 May for our 25th wedding anniversary. We planned a specail holiday as we couldn't afford a honeymoon way back then.
