Pizza takeaway

Does anybody know what is happing in the old Pizza takeaway in the village (corner of Lumb Lane / Bramhall Lane South) ? Looking through the whitened windows it has the hallmarks of another takeaway.

Also, does anybody know when the new Indian on Fir Road is due to open?

Car Park - Jobsworth

I am sure a lot of you will say it is my own fault but I think it is absolutely ridiculous that because I parked for literally 5 minutes, if it was even that, in the car park by the Orange Tree, I got a £60 ticket. It was 5.10pm, the car park was almost empty, I went into the co-op to buy one thing, no queue at till and there he was, a little jobsworth already stuck a ticket on. Blood Donation Session

We have a blood donation session coming up for Bramhall donors on the 30th December. We particularly need donors at the moment as blood stocks drop due to the festive period. Please give something most prescious this Christmas!

The session will be held at Stockport FC, Insider Suite, Edgeley Park, Hardcastle Road.
Times are from 10.00am-12.00pm and 2.00pm-4.00pm.

Why are all the shops going in Bramhall. I notice Roy Laddin and the old Ward and Williams (Bang and Oll.) shop have gone now!! I know they were expensive shops but you get what you pay for!!

Disabled Parking on Dairyground

First time here so bear with me. I just have to make a comment on the recently marked out diabled parking bays on the dairyground shops. Did we really need four bays for such a small car park. We are not talking tesco's here just a late shop. I find it hard to believe that four disabled people use those shops in a day let alone all at the same time. My only reason for making a comment is that on the weekend's your hard pushed to find a spot at all let alone now four of...

Did anyone else see what I saw on Sunday, late afternoon? It was sunny and dry, and my 4 yr old son said "I can see a rainbow in the sky!" And there it was, a lovely rainbow, but not where rainbows should be! It was high in the sky, nowhere near the horizon. It stayed for at least ten minutes I would say - I didn't time it, I was too busy searching for my camera! But it was certainly there for quite some time. A magical moment, I shan't forget it! Did you see it?
