It's OK, I've found out, somebody from my office went in to ask the builders. It is going to be sell Thornton's chocolates and italian ice cream
with a coffee bar. Like we need another one in Bramhall.

Have to say, had another lovely brekkie in Beluga this week, and paddled thru cheadle Hulme today, both looking good, some nice cheap houses on rightmove as well, as curryeater of Poynton said "Leave Poynton to the blue rinses, and if you have a family consider Bramhall or C/H". |

No more families on Hursthead estate thank you, we have enough and traffic at 8.45am when I am trying to get to work is just doing my head in, all the 4x4s
etc. I really don't think we need another coffee bar, even if it is going to have a chocolate fountain which seeing as how I work in the office directly
above is not going to do anything for my weight problem!

Cat Girl, you always go on about there being kids and families on - shock horror - the HH estate. Hmmm, this estate was built around a school - the largest
primary in Stockport actually with places for almost 600 pupils at both infant and junior sites. Why did you think there wouldn't be a lot of families
there? It's like moving to a side road near a football stadium and then getting irate with the noise on match days?
You may have had children yourself once, but if they've flown the nest, why don't you move if it bothers you so much? They are nice children at the school, mostly from nice families, and good backgrounds. And if you want to argue about that, try visiting Adswood for a change. |

I assume that you live in the Hursthead area, and work in Bramhall Village. Please don't tell me that you drive to work, when it's at most a 15 minute walk. |

Firstly, nope I dont have kids - having them living either side of me is a good advert for not having them. I cannot believe that their parents don't teach
them that my property is not for helping themselves to, throwing things against my wall, coming into my garden without asking and last week throwing things at
my car.
Secondly, yes I do drive to work - I spend all day getting up and down and shop locally (brownie point for me there) I often have heavy bags to carry - so therefore do drive to work - in a little micra. I object to a 4x4 blocking the road with just one kiddie in it - if they live on the estate they can walk to school - I used to walk to Bramhall High every day. |

Think I missed the bit in your response where you explain why you bought a house on a school estate and yet hate kids...?

There are more houses down my street that don't have kids than those that do so obviously the estate isn't exclusively for families, there are several
retired people - without kids/grandkids.
